Serving customers while adapting to new legislation so we can protect our community through this crisis is on the top of everyone’s list!
What We Are Doing To Help
We know that our current situation is causing a lot of stress and anxiety about the future. We want to help. Our team has been working diligently to renovate our business model to include new services that will benefit our community. We have come up with some solutions to help during these unprecedented times
New And Improved Contactless Repair and Maintenance
Our new and improved contactless shuttle service will now be available to pick up your auto, repair your vehicle, and return it to you, allowing you to stay in the safety of your home. Just call to make an appointment. This service was birthed out of a desire to help flatten the curve in our community while meeting the needs of our customers and the response has been very encouraging.
Expanded Shuttle Services To Help Vulnerable Community Members
We have expanded our shuttle services to meet personal needs as well. Errands to run? Deliveries to make? Goods to drop off? North Hills Auto is accepting appointments to offer their shuttle service to do it for you. We wanted to make a difference for the more vulnerable members of our community.
Taking Hygiene to the Next Level
We’re making sure our team is healthy before coming to work. We wear gloves and change before we get in any car to drive or move them. We are cleaning surfaces multiple times every day. We’re also following the President’s recommendations for controlling the spread. By not putting our essential workers at risk, we’re not putting our customers at risk either. It’s a win-win.
Taking Care of Business
North Hills is a Homeland Security Essential Business. We will continue to remain open for the duration of the lockdown and continue to take care of our customer’s vehicles. We are also keeping our entire staff employed and paying their normal salaries. We are committed to having a team that’s here for you now and later.
Preparing for the Future
In the midst of all of these changes, we’ve been putting the finishing touches on our newly expanded Augusta Road facility. The new facility will help us continue to ensure our customers get work “done right, on time, the first time, guaranteed.” We are committed to being here for Greenville.
Words of Encouragement
Perhaps our story will encourage other small business owners: We opened in 1986. In 1987 we faced a recession. In 1995 our Simpsonville shop burned to the ground. In 2001 we faced 9/11 with the rest of America. In 2008 we had the Great Recession and in 2020 we are facing this invisible enemy, the Coronavirus Pandemic. By the Grace of God, we survived every storm. We have no doubt that this will have the same outcome.
Be encouraged. We’re proud of our small businesses and residents and the way they have responded during these difficult times. In the words of one of our customers, “People need to remember these businesses after this is over.” As we prepare to reopen our economy, we’re confident that the innovation of our small businesses and the sacrifice and support of our community will translate into a “New Normal” that will benefit us all.
